Agro-Tourism Centre

Our 10-room Eco-Tourism and Hospitality / Accommodation Centre with conference facilities offer the perfect place to get away from it all. At our hospitality centre you will enjoy the sheer natural beauty and serenity of the surroundings. Our spacious rooms inlcude private balconies, hot and cold showers plus double or single accupancy, plus group accopancy of (7) seven and (17) seventeen. It resides minutes away from beaches such as San Souci Beach, Matura Beach, Grand Rivere Beach, and majestic waterfalls such as the Matura waterfalls. Our rates are reasonably affordable and allow you the pleasure of enjoying the natural beauty of the Toco region without emptying you wallet.

Young Farmers Project

The Young Farmers Project (YFP) was initiated in 1994 and was aimed initially at young farmers in the Cumana area who were already involved in agriculture. The focus was on providing equipment and know-how to enable them to increase production capacity and orient their production along commercial lines. The YFP has subsequently directed its attention more towards organic farming and animal husbandry. Has completed the building structure for a Farmer's Training Institute and Wild Life Centre – Assisted by JB Fernandes Memorial Trust; Food and Agriculture Organization’s (FAO) Telefood Project, as well as, the Ministry of Agriculture Land and Marine Resources and the University of the West Indies Agricultural Science Department.

Biodiversity: Toco Turlte Protection

Consolidating and expanding the Toco Turtle Protection Programme to include the Howler monkey protection in designated inland areas in the North East coast. - Assisted by CANARI and the British High Commission. It is moving slowly. Turtle tours bed, breakfast and turtle tour, Season strats in March to August.
